Our Story

My name is VaLlarey and I created Catch These Magick Hands.

We are a small black owned business that started out of a bedroom in the city of Las Vegas, but the roots of my ancestors magick goes much farther back.

I come from a long line of witches on my mothers side. I wasn't into practicing magick until I was in my early 20's. I had grown up around Tarot and card reading, eclectic individuals, herbs, poultices and old folk remedies. My grandmother was a Romani but married into a Christian family and it was frowned upon by the people she was around. So she never pursued it. She did however read cards, she could tell what you were thinking, and she was quite the magical being. So witchcraft seemed to be a logical next step. I didn't really have anyone in my immediate family who practiced the craft so I had to do research and create my own way of doing magic. In that sense I am still a solitary witch. Until I get around my Family!

However, after I met my ex I stopped practicing because he didn't approve of the "hoodoo" as he called it.

For 14 years I was trapped in an abusive and controlling environment. I had given up hope on life, living, and thinking that my life was mine to control. I fell into that belief that everything happens for a reason and that I couldn't change anything. Having that mindset meant that nothing would ever change. Then something happened that changed how I looked at my life and I no longer felt powerless.  It was then that I realized that I had the power to change my fate. I realized that unlike what others would have me believe, everything wasn't always preordained to happen. My unfortunate life was mine to cultivate, nurture and ultimately change.  I had the power to make it amazing and welcome all the divine universe's gifts.

So that is where I decided to create a online shop where people could purchase tools to inspire their magick. We are constantly trying to bring you items to help you cultivate your Magick Skills. If there is something that you would like to see please don't hesitate to drop us a line!
